Job Description

*PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

QA controller: Plan, lead, coordinate and provide technical support to all departments on Quality matters (product, procedure, process, people), and introduce new procedures and quality improvement projects.
EHSS coordinator: Provide support and knowledge for the development and implementation of environment, health and safety systems and programs, in accordance with company Principle and Practices, legal requirement and recognized best practices, in order to prevent injury to employees, minimize the impact to environment and business.
Authenticator: assess and officially report the authentication of received samples.

*ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- ACCOUNTABILITY 1
+ Supervise the implementation of QA procedures.
+ Coordinate to transfer Philip Morris International (PMI) procedures and best practices and develop the local quality management system.

- ACCOUNTABILITY 2: Coordinate to establish and monitor the manufacturing specifications in order to meet the PMI requirements.

- ACCOUNTABILITY 3: Provide guidance and mentoring to QA staff.

- ACCOUNTABILITY 4:
+ Plan and coordinate Quality assessments of equipment and materials.
+ Evaluate, analyze and recommend alternative suppliers and products and coordinate trials of new material with other Operations functions in order to contribute to minimizing production cost and improving overall quality.

-ACCOUNTABILITY 5: Propose and lead Quality improvement projects and self-control system in order to ensure that the products and the processes meet the quality requirements in a cost effective manner and in line with the legal requirements.

- ACCOUNTABILITY 6: Analyze QA audit data in order to inform Operations personnel of the results, and make recommendations about the Quality level of the product and the process using statistical methods, observations, etc.

- ACCOUNTABILITY 7
+ Report monthly QA KPIs and activities to Cluster
+ Maintain sufficient communication with relevant departments in order to ensure proper transfer of the information necessary to control, benchmark and handle product quality performance.

- ACCOUNTABILITY 8:
+ In coordination with the Manager EHS and in compliance with overall PMI safety and security policies, define and set-up the necessary security and safety procedures related to QA activities and control that they are abided by in order to safeguard employees against potential hazards and protect company property.
+ Interact with local officials, Corporate Affairs and R&D to deal with any legal issues/regulations that may impact product standards and/or testing procedures.

-ACCOUNTABILITY 9:
+ Lead or participate in special project teams to improve overall factory performance.
+ Assist Manufacturing Supervisor in other activities/projects related to areas in charge

-ACCOUNTABILITY 10: Report of EHS&S KPIs, activities, incidence, assessment to management, cluster/region and EHS-OC

- ACCOUNTABILITY 11: Support the implementation of EHSS activities to raise the awareness of employee, zero safety incident, reduce health risk, minimize the impact to environment and business, assure the compliance to company Principle & Practices, standard and legal regulation:
• Translate into local languages the main policies, principle, practice & guidelines
• Communicate to employee throughout campaign and posters
• Coordinate for training activities: E-Fleet learning, Alert driving, First Aids, Fire Fighting,
Emergency Evacuation.
• Execute EHSS assessments to head office, sale offices and finished goods warehouses and coordinate to establish improvement plan.
• Coordinate for EHSS activities in manufacturing and factory warehouse by sharing EHSS procedure, best practices and establish the improvement plan.

- ACCOUNTABILITY 12:
+ Inspect and/or examine tobacco product to determine the authentication of product
+ Make and/or written statements on behalf of the company.
Reporting all inspected case into ITSP system & flatting samples send to Regional ITSP & VPM
+ Corporate Affairs Department.

Job Requirement

- College/University or College of Chemical/Biology technology
- 3-5 years in QA department of FMCG industry. QA manager-individual contributor is preferable.
- Work location: Can Tho.
- Preferred candidate in Can Tho, candidates from other provinces will be supported and facilitated to work in Can Tho
