Job Description

  • CONTRACTING AND MANAGING LOCATIONS:

- Build relationships with retailers in order to maximize business
building (BB) opportunities.
- Evaluate and identify potential of retail outlets covered, taking
into consideration sales volumes and / or engagement opportunities to
reach of LA consumers to maximize   VPM's brands presence through
product availability, visibility and engagement activities.
- Secure exclusive / primary visibility and availabity contracts with
identified outlets to establish BB platform in accordance to trade
segmentation principles that are in line with brand and business
strategies.
- Continuously gather and update information of point of sales &
retailer to ensure relevance of VPM's investments
- Coverage scope: assigned province

  • TERRITORY MANAGEMENT:

- Manage territory through route planning, call frequency, numeric and
weighted coverage principles to maximize effective and efficient
territory coverage
- Ensure team's route compliance and executing quality calls during
visits in accordance with established in-call mission.
- Ensure team ensures constant availability, visibility and product
freshness at all covered outlets.
- Gather and report market and competitive intelligence to supervisor
regularly
- Lead team on building retailer understanding, cosumer trends and
identify and maximize trade & consumer engagement opportunities.
- Coverage scope: assigned province

  • TRADE ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITIES:

- Lead the team and Implement, monitor and measure trade marketing
activities at outlet level (trade programs and PPOSM) to ensure the
highest return of investment and is in accordance with VPM P&P and
local regulations.
- Propose, execute and measure territory specific programs (i.e.
outlet based, channel based or geographic based) programs in order to
deliver sales volume and market   share growth in line with the
Region's business objective.
- Execute trade and brand education to build retailer undertsanding
and advocacy towards VPM's brands and programs.
- Gather and share relevant feedback from retailers in the territory
that support improvements in engagement activities and strategies

  • CONSUMER ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITIES & CONSUMER INSIGHTS:

- Coordinate with Consumer Engagement team to deployment of
appropriate consumer engagement activities at outlets selected within
the assigned territory and monitor the performance of the programs
executed
- Provide feedback to supervisor on the efficacy of programs executed,
performance of 3rd Party CE personnel
- Gather and share relevant adult consumer insights observed in the
covered territory which has impact on purchasing behaviors to the
relevant stakeholders

  • RELATIONSHIP BUILDING WITH KEY STAKEHOLDERS:

- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with internal and
external stakeholders (3rd party Sales Reps, Wholesales Executive,
Trade Strategy & Deployment Executives, Consumer Engagement
Executives,  Retailers and Retailer Staff) to ensure   smooth
collaboration to drive sales and market share growth within the
territory.

  • COMPLIANCE & INTEGRITY:

- Execute all business building activities in accordance to program
mechanics and guidelines provided
- Ensure employee conduct is in compliance with VPM Br. Principles and
Practices & Local Regulations
- Manage company assets and work-tools responsibly
- Adhere to EHSS practices and standards

  • ORGANIZATION, HR & PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT :

- Drive, guide/coach, engage, reward and develop team to increase
productivity, ensure performance against objectives and professional
growth by creating a teamwork spirit and supportive environment.
- Maintain a high standard level of motivation among BBR team through
effective field accompaniment, meeting style and appraisal of
individuals.
- Ensure that recruitment, development and training support are a
profession to a highly professional and effective organization
according to company policies and procedures.
- Identify On-the-Job training needs and arrange training accordingly.

Job Requirement

- 2-3 year experience in Field Sales or Marketing; or similar role from
other FMCGs preferred

- Technical skills - Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint & Word)
Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
- Ability to interface across functions and with internal and external
parties.
- Appropriate English written and oral communication skills.
- Self-starter whom does not needs to wait for direction to take
calculated initiatives
