Job Description

BASIC PURPOSE
- Manage area Field Sales Force to successfully implement all commercial activities to achieve related trade KPIs and  volume growth and ensuring optimization of 3rd party resource ie. EZD Sales and Merchandising teams and appointed Agency PSTs.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Propose and execute operational plans in line with commercial strategy. Proposed plans will optimize FSF and EZD utilization in the execution of strategies and the resources to support them across all channels.
- Review and report on cycle objectives, volume and trade KPI's and business building including in field consumer engagement activities to monitor field force effectiveness and performance. Leveraging on a variety of experiences to identify issues and opportunities to continuously improve operational plans.
- Provide coaching and direction to FSF, focusing on the development areas to effectively identify individual development gaps to formulate coaching plans. Support development through on the job training as well as providing timely guidance and feedback to deliver a highly capable and engaged team.
- Develop and support effective development plans for identified talent, in consultation with Commercial Capability Manager. Monitor, review and communicate identified talents progression formally every 6 months versus specifically designed development plan.
- Ensure that the implementation of sales activities and new launch of PM products are done according to the given guidelines and given set of objectives.
- Monitor and report on all relevant market information, including competitor intelligence, brand and consumer insights specific to the region to provide an awareness leading to the development of portfolio strategies.
- Uphold corporate integrity and values while ensuring all activities comply with PM policies and procedures, including Sales Force Operating Policies and Procedures, local and federal laws and International Marketing Code.

DESCRIPTION OF LEVELS
- The full level of this job should handle a developing territory, carry out and present market analysis, prepare/implement sales planning, and get supervision from Manager Regional Sale. Deal with normal level of complexity, and assist RSM in a more complex ad-hoc analysis.
- The senior level of this job should handle key territory, operate almost independent. Able to prepare and implement process improvements, complex sales planning, non-routine tasks with minimum guidance and super vison from RSM. Able to train and coach less experience RSS. Can present in front of RSM.

Job Requirement

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Education: Bachelor degree or above in Sales or other business
- Work experience: Minimum 7 years experience in Sales area preferably in an FMCG MNC; at least 3-5 years at managerial level; cross functional experience and expert knowledge in Market and Sales organization
- Skills, function specifics: Distributor/Wholesalers management; Territory management; Field sales disciplines
